Lilacism: Intro to Pastels

So as cute as pastels are, I will admit that I am not the biggest fan.  These are some pastels that I do really like.  I actually tried out this Essie color Lilacism this week for the first time!  It takes some getting used to, but I like how it is out of my comfort zone.  This blog has really encouraged me to try new things. Pastels look great paired with white denim, chambray, and even patterns. The Louis Vuitton ad below is some pastel inspiration.

I challenge you to incorporate a pastel item into an outfit, even if it is just for Easter! :)

All the bright colors and patterns for spring lately remind me so much of Barcelona.  The bright colors in the dress and skirt off set with the dark jewelry, floral top, and classic trench coat.  I love the subtle geometric shapes and colors in this dress.
